Privacy policy

Effective October 2, 2026. This policy covers the GlaziersEdge Knowledge service at https://glazing-mcp.glazingkb.workers.dev, including its MCP endpoint and when it is used as an app inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT.

Summary

There are no accounts, no sign-in, no cookies and no advertising. We do not ask for personal information. To run and improve the service we keep an anonymous log of tool calls for 180 days.

What we collect

When an assistant calls one of our tools, we record:

the tool name and the inputs sent to it (for example the search text or product name), after masking anything that looks like an email address, phone number or long number, and truncated to a few hundred characters;
the time of the call, the number of results, whether it succeeded, and how long it took;
the name and version the MCP client reports about itself (for example the assistant's connector name), the first word of its user-agent string, and the MCP protocol version;
the two-letter country and Cloudflare data-center code that our hosting provider attaches to each request.

We also record a similar entry (without inputs) when a client first connects.

What we do not collect

We do not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, account or user identifiers, cookies, authentication tokens, or full user-agent strings.
We do not receive or store your conversation. Tools only receive the specific inputs the assistant sends for that call.
We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not type personal or confidential project information into questions; if you do, it may be stored in the log after masking.

How we use it

To operate the service, fix errors, measure which tools and topics are used, and decide what reference content to add or correct. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or to identify anyone, and we do not sell it.

Who receives it

The service runs on Cloudflare Workers; Cloudflare processes requests and stores our log on our behalf. Cloudflare's platform also keeps short-lived operational logs (a few days) used for debugging. We do not share the log with anyone else unless required by law. The assistant you use (for example ChatGPT) handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Log entries are deleted automatically after 180 days.

Your choices

You can stop using the service at any time by removing the app or connector from your assistant. Because we keep no accounts or identifiers, we cannot look up records about a particular person; if you think you sent something you want removed, open a request on our support page with the approximate time and the text, and we will delete matching entries.

Children

The service is a professional reference for the construction industry and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date.
